Social Services at Blessed Sacrament, Inc. is an independent tax-exempt charitable organization based in Hollywood. Serving the less fortunate in the area, the Social Services Center provides services to all in need with an emphasis on serving the homeless in the community. Our services include the ability of our clients to take showers, receive fresh clothes, enjoy both breakfast and lunch service, and receive weekly haircuts. The Center prides itself in the many success stories and endeavors to continue to serve those in need. Last year, the Center provided more than 6,500 showers, 10,000 meals and close to 1000 haircuts. Our services are performed primarily by volunteers and the Center operates with only 1 full time and 3 part-time staff members.
