The Social Services Center Receives $2,500.00 Grant

Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel hosted the Chamber’s June Business After Hours Mixer this week. During this event, Hollywood Community Foundation awarded three grants, $2,500 each, to local organizations. Grant recipients included the Social Services at Blessed Sarament for providing immediate necessities to area homeless, LAPD National Night Out for the August 7 event, and PATH to assist its emergency housing program for chronically homeless adults.

Social Services at Blessed Sacrament is proud to announce several generous gifts in support of our work.

Special thanks to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Foundation for their generous grant of $2,500.00 for the work of the Center!

Special thanks also to the Central Hollywood Coalition, a group of Hollywood business owners, for a grant of $10,000.00 to be used for the continued operation of the social services outreach program.

The Center was also the recipient of a generous gift from Paramount Developers and Contractors. This concerned Hollywood business donated carpet for the Center which has been installed through the generous gift from a member of the Board of Directors. The new carpet is a welcome addition to our facililty which serves thousands of clients each year.

Thanks to these groups for their continued commitment to Social Services at Blessed Sacrament.
